FANTASTIC TEAM EFFORT
a
professional edFrom the offset our guys set out with a determination and ge to thier game, know doubt the humbling
from our Fife neighbours still fresh in thier minds.
In a very tight 1st period, it took until the 17th minute for
#21 Adam mcnicoll to net after some neat stick work and
score low left past the Killie keeper to take us in 1-0 up at the
end of the opening stanza. The 2nd half opened as the 1st
finished, with both sides going at each other in a very high
tempo game. It was not until James smith came up with a
magical 2nd goal for the stars, that the Kilmarnock side
showed the first signs of defeat, with our boys creating
chance after chance, only for Kilmarnock to break against
the run of play , to pull themselves back into the game and
set up a rip-roaring finish.
But again it took a bit of master class from James smith
to snatch an exquisite winner to ensure that the points stayed
in Dundee. So well done guys keep up the good work and
take it into next weekends games vs Elgin & Fife.
